I founded Williams & Associates, Wealth Stewardship because I believe managing your wealth is one of the most important responsibilities an advisor can have – and your hard-earned wealth deserves advisors who are as committed to excellence as you are.

After nearly 20 years in the industry, I kept coming back to John Bogle's book "Enough" and his principles of simplicity over complexity, stewardship over salesmanship, and value over fees. I wanted to dedicate my professional life to those ideals – being a true steward of people's wealth and earning their trust through results.

Here's how I see it: you have things you want to accomplish in your life, and I'm here to be part of your support network that helps you get there. It's your story, your wealth, your results. We're partners in setting goals and achieving them, using wealth as the tool to get what you, your family, and your community want out of life.

I'm a CFA charterholder with 17 years at a major private investment counsel before forming this team at Richardson Wealth in 2024. But what really drives me is building a place where the sole focus is on client outcomes – I'm fortunate to be in a position where I can focus on that and let the results speak for themselves.

My spouse and I split our time between Prince Edward County and Toronto. I'm a voracious reader, vinyl collector, cyclist, and I attempt to ride the wave of youthfulness by surfing on family vacations.

Alex is my right-hand person – the guy who makes sure everything we discuss actually happens.

When we map out your financial strategy, Alex is coordinating to deliver on what we've promised. He's got that rare combination of being detail-oriented enough to ensure nothing falls through the cracks, while also supporting me with due diligence and joining many of our discussions with investment partners – so he's always up to speed on what's happening in your portfolios.

Alex graduated from U of T's Rotman School and earned his Master's in Finance from Queen's, plus he's a CFA charterholder working toward his portfolio manager license. But what really matters is that he genuinely cares about helping you achieve your goals – he dives right into whatever needs to get done to move you forward.

Outside the office, Alex stays active with basketball and tennis, collects sneakers and watches, and speaks fluent Mandarin. He's incredibly easy to get along with – it's hard not to like the guy – and always seems up for trying something new.

What I really value about Sean is how he integrates tax planning into your bigger wealth picture, coordinating with estate discussions and overall strategy so everything works together toward your goals.

Sean's an accountant with a Master of Taxation from Waterloo, plus he's a U.S. CPA and TEP. Before joining our Richardson Wealth team, he was at a multi-national accounting firm working with high-net-worth private clients. He writes thought leadership content and has been featured in The Globe and Mail for his insights on cross-border tax matters.

But what you'll notice most is Sean's patience and clarity – he has this calming presence that gives you confidence when navigating complex tax decisions that impact your wealth goals.

Senior Financial Planner

Brett is our senior financial planner – the guy who pulls everything together and helps you see how all the pieces of your wealth work toward your life goals.

Brett's like your family doctor for wealth planning – he's often the one conducting discovery meetings where he helps you identify goals and opportunities you hadn't even considered. What makes Brett valuable is how he constructs your complete wealth plan – discussing retirement preparedness, supporting family, and other aspirations where your investments become the tool to help you achieve what matters most. He can also discuss estate and tax matters across most scenarios and help you understand how they fit into your bigger picture.

Brett brings 20 years of financial planning experience and has worked at several major investment firms. Before that, he served 20 years in the Canadian military, which shows in his direct but warm approach – it builds confidence as you work toward your goals. He's a CFP, TEP, and CIM, and he's ready to dive into specific topics or raise planning considerations that help optimize your wealth strategy.

Jason is our estate and insurance advisor who brings a planner-first approach to helping you protect what you've built.

When we identify that insurance could be a valuable tool to help you achieve your goals, Jason brings that thoughtful, educational approach that makes insurance conversations comfortable and focused on your needs. He's got well-rounded knowledge of the industry from working at manufacturer, distributor, and independent broker levels, plus his accounting background allows him to take a comprehensive approach to protecting your wealth and family.

What you'll appreciate about Jason is how he explains concepts clearly, does his homework, and only recommends solutions that actually fit your situation and advance your goals. He earned his BBA with honours in Accounting and Corporate Finance from UNB, started his CA with Deloitte, and earned his CFP designation. Interesting fact: he took a sabbatical to train and try out for the Canadian Olympic Swim Team – which tells you something about his focus and determination in pursuing excellence.
